   Lingkod collects information you provide during registration, including your name, email address, phone number, and home address. Clients must submit a government-issued ID and selfie. Workers must additionally submit a Barangay Clearance and TESDA Certificate. This information is used to verify your identity and activate your account.

   We collect all data related to your service requests and bookings, including problem descriptions, attached photos, proposed schedules, offer amounts, negotiation history, booking statuses, work completion proof photos, and payment records.

   Location data is collected to match clients with nearby workers and to support map-based booking and worker discovery features. Location access is requested at the time of use and can be managed through your device settings. Saved locations are stored for your convenience.

   For online payments, transaction amounts and payment status are recorded. Online payments are temporarily held in escrow and released upon your instruction. We do not store full payment credentials.

   Photos uploaded for identity verification, service requests, or proof of completed work are stored securely and used only for their stated purpose.

   Lingkod uses Google Gemini (Andy) to process text descriptions and photos submitted by clients for service category recommendations. Data sent to Andy is used only for generating suggestions and is governed by Google's API data policies.

   Conversations between clients and workers — including negotiation messages and group chats — may be reviewed by authorized Lingkod administrators solely for dispute resolution, platform safety, and service quality monitoring. By using Lingkod, you consent to this monitoring.

   We collect information about your activity on the platform, including booking history, ratings given and received, review submissions, and account status.

   Limited personal information (such as your name and contact details) is shared with the other party only as necessary to complete a booking. Your identity documents are not shared with other users. Data may be shared with third-party services (e.g., cloud storage, GCash, Google services) solely for platform operation, under data protection agreements.

    Your information is protected using secure authentication and database security measures. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

    You may request to update or delete your account at any time by contacting Lingkod support. Account deletion removes your personal data from active systems, subject to retention periods required by applicable law.

    This policy is governed by the Republic of the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). By using Lingkod, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.
